    Presentation of Awards ( Obedience)

     We had a record number of 26 members, no dogs, attending the club annual dinner at the Primrose restaurant in Ballynahinch. The food and the craic was good. The club annual awards were presented to the lucky recipients who had done so well during the preceding season. The Obedience winners were:

    Pre-Beginners/Beginners - Ciaran and Oskar

    Novice - Jennifer and Mac

    A,B & C - Jillian and Bella.

    The combined Obedience and Agility trophy was won by Alison and Zara

      Congratulations to all those handlers and their pups, who passed their puppy assessments recently. From left to right we have Tiernan and Angela with Angel, John and Marie with Jessie, Louise and Trixie, Kate and Gayle with Tobi and Robert with Harvey. Not in the photograph but also successful are Tori and Diesel.

     Huge congratulations, yet again, to Andrew and Harry on winning both the small 1-3 Agility and 1-3 Jumping at Glandore's indoor show yesterday. Unfortunately Andrew was elsewhere when the photo was taken, but Harry is displaying his baubles proudly!

    Puppy Assessment Successes

     The following handlers and their puppies have been successful in passing their GC Puppy Assessments. They are: John & Pete, Carol & Jess, Susan & Alfie, Rosie and Max with Flio, Catherina & Lilly and Connie and Susie with Snoopy.

    Also successful but not in the photograph were Philip and Bethany & Patch, Madeline and Eamon & Max, Ruth & Harley, James and Valerie with Lola, Christine and Holly & Poppy, Avril & Diesel and Claire & Luna.

    Special Pre-Beginners Sem Final

    Special Pre-Beginners Sem Final

     Ciaran and Oskar made a trip to Sotland last weekend to compete in the semi final of the GCDS Special Pre-Beginners Competition. There were 2 heats of competitors from across the north of the UK and Ciaran and Oskar won their heat. The top 5 in each heat have now qualified for Crufts. Hugh congratulations to them both as this really is some achievement and a testimony to all the hard work that Ciaran has put into his training.

    Agility Successes

     Hugh congratulations yet again to Andrew and Harry on their amazing hat trick at Castlereagh Show this weekend. They won small 1-4 Agility, 1-5 Agility and 1-3 Jumping. What a way to end the season.
