    Open Obedience Show

After several days of rain, we were very lucky to enjoy a dry, if chilly day at our own Obedience Show today. Our only first place winners were Brenda and Megan, who won the Beginner's class. Well done

    All Ireland Winter League

    All Ireland Winter League

    Final Round

We were very lucky with the weather for the last round of the All Ireland Winter League. It was great to see a good turn out and Liam O'Brien set a couple of flowing courses with just enough of a challenge to keep people on their toes. Karen and Tess won the Medium Agility round, giving this team a positive experience before they head off to the WAO championships next month.

As this was the last round of this year's league, the best overall dogs and handlers were presented with their trophies. Congratulations to Lynn and Dale for winning the Small Dog Jumping Trophy

    Lisburn Obedience Show

    Lisburn Obedience Show

The Lisburn show took place on the warmest day of the year so far, enabling some of the classes to be run outside. It was up to Jillian and Kappa to take the club's only first place, winning Class B. Well done to them both

    Celtic Winners Championship Show

    Celtic Winners Championship Show

    St Patrick's Day

Alan Bray set good flowing, uncomplicated courses for the Green Star Classes and the standard classes, surprising competitors who had been watching the extremely testing courses at Crufts the previous week. However, mistakes were still easily made by even our best handlers, so Karen Bleakly and Tess deserve to be congratulated on winning the Green Star Medium Championship.

    Winter League

    Winter League

    Heats 3 & 4

After an unseasonably mild few days, winter returned for this double event, with cold winds, some hail and some sunshine. We had 2 club winners this week with Audrey and Molly  winning  the Medium Agility (heat 3) and being the top dog across all 3 height categories. Lynn and Dale had a good win in the Small dog Jumping (heat 4). Both ladies also picked up several places either in other classes or with a different dog.

As you can see from the photograph, any aspiring agilityites would not need to be afraid of mud!

    Well done to them both.

    Winter League

    Winter League

    Club Winners

The second, or was it actually the third round of the Winter League took place today. For once, the weather was lovely, if a little chilly and there was a good turn out from near and far afield. Maynard had set some really good courses with just enough in them to keep the handlers on their toes.

It was our Medium dogs who performed exceptionally well today. Karen and Tess won both the Medium Agility round and was the overall winner across the 3 height categories in the Pay on the Day Jumping class. It was great to see Tess back on form after a prolonged absence due to injury.

Audrey and Molly were also on good form winning the Medium Jumping class, a testimony to all the hard work that Audrey has been doing over the last while.

    Congratulations to them both
